Welcome Friends!
Special Note: The Riverwalk Inn was built in an era when people still farmed with horses and electricity was uncommon. The rooms are modest and simple. The property is open and airy, fairly bursting with herb, flower, and vegetable gardens, yet is nicely situated across from the peaceful Riverwalk Park, on the north bank of the Chelan River.
Our most satisfied guests are those who enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, golfing, swimming, kayaking, photography, and cross-country skiing. They appreciate the simple pleasures of a clean room, a hot shower, friendly hosts, and the fragrances and flavors of our in-house artisan bakery. Some of our well-traveled guests have described us as a European-style Inn or Pensione - cozy, full of character, hospitable, and memorable!

NEW FOR 2010!
We continue to redecorate and renovate the historic Riverwalk Inn to reflect our commitment to beauty, color, gardening, delicious fresh foods and baked goods. Gardening is one of the most popular recreational activities for singles, couples and families, these days. You'll note that our new room names include many of our favorite herbs and flowers--and, in-season, you'll see all of them growing on the premises at the Inn
A Comment Sent to the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce ...
" ...we stayed at the Riverwalk Inn on August 27-28 (2009) of this year. My husband and I would like to extend our appreciation to the team of the Riverwalk Inn for unsurpassed and downhome hospitality they provided to us ... they served home-cooked frittata and natural breads, fruits, and vegetables. They offered us healthy options that we could not find in other public dining in downtown Chelan. This is a place we definitely recommend to our friends and family." - Marilyn H.
